Jhanvi Motla is a writer/director from Mumbai whose stories explore the complexities of the human condition, with a focus on migration, violent crime, and otherness. Her work has been supported by the Film Independent Screenwriting Lab, Ryan Murphy’s HALF Initiative, NALIP’s Production Incubator in partnership with Netflix, Lena Waithe’s Hillman Grad Mentorship and 1497’s Feature Lab.
In addition to writing she has been a Producer across different formats. Her credits include award winning feature film “At the Gates” starring Noah Wyle and Executive Produced by Armyan Bernstein & Colleen Camp, Music Videos for Willow and Jaden Smith, Commercials for Samsung, Levi’s & New Balance and Netflix documentaries shepherded by David Fincher, elvis mitchell and Angus Wall.
